Look And Remember

But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; James 1:22-23
The moment some people walk away from the mirror, they forget the image of themselves they had just seen. Sadly, this happens to Christians too. When this happens, they tend to forget what they just learnt from the Word.
God’s Word is His mirror, and just as you see your reflection when you look into a mirror, God’s Word shows you who you are, what you have and what you can do in Christ Jesus.
As you look into the mirror of God daily, practice what you’ve learnt immediately. As you do, you won’t be “…a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work…” (James 1:25).
