YOU’RE HIS HOME
(Be Conscious Of The Indwelling Spirit Of God)

📖 TO THE BIBLE
Colossians 1:26-27 TLB “He has kept this secret for centuries and generations past, but now at last it has pleased him to tell it to those who love him and live for him… This is the secret: Christ in your hearts is your only hope of glory.”
◀️ LET’S TALK
“What do you mean, “You’re the temple of God”?” Oliver quizzed Evelyn his cousin, as she shared with him what she had read in her Bible.
“I mean, God is at home in me right now, living and speaking in and through me.”
For some, this is a difficult concept to grasp but, in 1 Corinthians 3:16, the Apostle Paul wasn’t talking about some imaginations or a fable, but a reality: You’re the temple of God and the Spirit of God lives in you! When Jesus walked the earth, He was the living temple of Almighty God. Wherever the Lord went, the Father went in Him, because the totality of the Godhead dwelt in Him (Colossians 2:9).
Now, think about the fact that as Jesus is, so are we in this world! Meaning that you’re God’s moving home; His living temple; the fullness of the Godhead tabernacles in you. Someone asks, “How can that be?” It’s simple. Colossians 2:9 TLB says, “For in Christ there is all of God in a human body.” Then the next verse says, “…You are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power” (Colossians 2:10). Again, someone might query, “If we’re already full of God, why then did Paul pray for the Christians at Ephesus to be filled with all the fullness of God?” (Ephesians 3:19).
First, understand that Paul didn’t include himself in the prayer. If it was so needed for everyone, he’d have said, “…that we all might be filled with all the fullness of God.” But no, He knew he was already filled with God; that’s why he wanted to bring the Ephesian saints to the same consciousness—that Christ in you is the fullness of God in you.
In the Old Testament, everywhere the Ark of the Covenant was, God’s glory was present, and miracles and blessings manifested. Today, God’s presence is no longer in the Ark, but in your spirit; you’re the living, moving Ark of God today. Walk in this consciousness, and nothing shall be impossible to you.
