ROYAL TALK
(Be Bold To Speak Like Royalty Every Time)
Always have the consciousness that you’re royalty and your words ought to be kingly.
TO THE BIBLE 1 Corinthians 2:7 TLB
“Our words are wise because they are from God, telling of God’s wise plan to bring us into the glories of heaven. This plan was hidden in former times, though it was made for our benefit before the world began.”
LET’S TALK
One of the most notable changes that must take place in the life of every Christian is a change in vocabulary. It’s important that your choice of words measures up with your royal status as a child of God. You must come to the level where your communication is completely different from that of the world.
I’ll never forget the story I read of a young prince of France. During the French revolution, the revolutionists killed his father and got a hold of him in order to kill him. But some objected to the idea, saying, “He’s too young and innocent; if we kill him now, he’ll go straight to Heaven. And that’s too good for his wicked father.” So they decided to give him over to a witch who would teach him to curse, after which they’d kill him: so he’d go to hell.
The witch tried so hard to teach this little boy to curse, but he just wouldn’t. Finally, in defiance, he spoke up and said to the witch, “I will not talk like that. I was raised to be a king, and I will not speak like one from the gutter!”
Like that young French prince, recognize who you are and refuse to condescend to the level of the world around you in your communication. Don’t say things like, “I have a headache,” or “My feet are killing me!” Rather, put your hand on it and declare health and strength in the Name of Jesus!” Let your vocabulary, always be in line with what God has provided for you in Christ Jesus.

RELATE: Speak
I have put away all filthy words from my mouth. All that proceeds from my mouth edifies and ministers grace to the hearers, bringing glory to the Name of Jesus.
Act
Consciously practice speaking words such as “I’m rich, healthy and strong,” “I’m victorious in all I do,” “I’m a success at every count…” every day, for the next one week.
