A BRAND NEW YOU ; YOU’RE NEW IN TYPE AND QUALITY

TO THE BIBLE; Romans 6:4
“Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.”

LET’S TALK
The Bible declares in 2 Corinthians 5:17, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” The Greek rendering of the phrase, new creation actually means new species of being. It doesn’t just refer to a new life in terms of timing, that is, a life that has just begun. Instead, it refers to a newness in type and quality. A new creation is a new type of person; he’s one of a kind that never existed before! He’s not subject to satan, and doesn’t need deliverance from him.
That’s who you are, if you’re born again. You’re not subject to defeat, and can’t be disadvantaged. Walk by faith, because you’ve already been given the measure of faith (Romans 12:3). Romans 6:14 declares, “For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.”
You’re a superior being; you’re no longer governed by sin or bad habits. You’re not the same old you, who has merely turned a new leaf or changed from living wild to living decently. No! You’re born anew, to express the righteousness, excellence, glory, and multifaceted wisdom of God. Hallelujah!

To console those who mourn in Zion, to give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified.
2 Corinthians 5:17

SPEAK
I’m a new creation in Christ Jesus, holy and sanctified unto the Lord! I’m a partaker of the divine nature, expressing and manifesting the life of Christ in righteousness, excellence, glory, wisdom and power! I reign by grace today, through righteousness, because the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death and its debilitating influences.
