“And if the Spirit of Him Who raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, [then] He Who raised up Christ Jesus from the dead will also restore to life your mortal (short-lived, perishable) bodies through His Spirit Who dwells in you.”
LET’S TALK
During the voyage to Rome where he was to stand trial before Caesar, the ship Paul was traveling in suffered a wreck and was cast on the Island of Malta. While ashore, gathering sticks to stoke a fire to keep warm, a viper wrapped itself around Paul’s arm and bit him. Guess what Paul did? He calmly shook the snake into the fire and continued with what he was doing. He gave no attention to the fact that deadly venom had just been passed into his bloodstream. The local people saw this happen and kept a close eye on him, expecting him to drop dead at any moment, but to their amazement, he didn’t.
How come nothing happened to Paul? He understood something: his life wasn’t in the blood coursing through his arteries and veins, a truth he shares in Romans 8: “…When God lives and breathes in you (and he does, as surely as he did in Jesus), you are delivered from that dead life. With his Spirit living in you, your body will be as alive as Christ’s!” (Romans 8:11 MSG).
What an amazing reality! Being born again and filled with the Holy Spirit, you no longer live by blood but by the power of the Spirit-the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead. He has given life to your physical body, and has made you indestructible! Believe this because it’s 100% true!

Speak
The same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead lives in me. My body is filled with the life of God from the crown of my head to the soles of my feet. I walk in divine health and victory; sickness and disease can’t dwell in my body because it’s the temple of the Holy Spirit, hallelujah!
