WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT CHRISTIAN MIRACLES AND THE MIRACLES OF GOD IN THE BIBLE.
A miracle is the supernatural occurrence or intervention of God that transcends human or logical reasoning. At different times in life, people require these supernatural manifestations. When there’s no way out, when medical science gives up on a case, and when human reasoning offers no hope, a miracle is required.
The Bible says, “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him” (Acts 10:38). Jesus went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; not some, but all! If He healed all that were sick back then in Bible days, He still does so today because He hasn’t changed. He’s the same yesterday, today, and forever.
It doesn’t matter what problems you may be facing today; one thing is sure: God still performs miracles and you can call on Him today!
The Bible says in Acts 19:11-12 that “…God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul: so that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them.”
Miracles are recorded for us in the Scriptures so that we might have faith in the power of a living, resurrected Christ. In John 20:30-31, the Bible says, “And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples which are not written in this book: but these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.” In other words, miracles testify to the deity of Jesus. How else can we prove the reality of the presence of God with His Church? It’s the manifestation of the miraculous power of God in people’s lives that removes Christianity from the realm of religion.
The healing miracles performed in our ministry are done through the power in the Name of Jesus Christ, the Son of the living God. He was crucified over 2,000 years ago, but God raised Him from the dead and He’s alive today in power and is present with us through the Holy Spirit.
