(The Anointing Is Your Shield)

When you’re yielded to the anointing of the Holy Spirit, you’re empowered to live above ungodly influences.

TO THE BIBLE 1 John 2:18, 20

“Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come, by which we know that it is the last hour… But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things.”

LET’S TALK

The Bible reveals that one of the signs of the end times is the proliferation of antichrists in the world, and they’re already here! They show up disguised as preachers of Christ, but they’re out to oppose Christ through false teaching. Strikingly, their teaching isn’t necessarily the opposite of the Gospel, but a perversion of it. They twist the truth in order to lure people from the true Gospel of Christ.

However, if you’re born again, you needn’t worry about how many impostors are out there, because your heart and mind are anointed by the Holy Spirit to know the truth. That means you’re able to discern between true and false teachings. Whenever you hear God’s Word, the same Holy Spirit who inspired the Word, bears witness with your spirit that what you’re hearing is the truth.

This is why you can’t be deceived by antichrists, so long as you’re yielded to the influence of the Holy Spirit. He’ll guide you to hear and accept only what is consistent with the Father’s will, and enable you make the right choices and invest your time and resources wisely. Make sure to acknowledge His presence in you today and yield to His leading. This is the way to activate His anointing in your life and remain impenetrable to the devil’s advances.
