And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28
As a lad, Joseph was sold into slavery by his own brothers. While in Egypt (a slave), everything was going well until he was falsely accused and imprisoned. None of these discouraged Joseph. He trusted God and later became the Prime Minister of Egypt.
So it doesn’t mailer what the situation is, all things are working together for your good, because you’re God’s beloved child. Therefore, “in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you” (1 Thessalonians 5:18).
