TIME FOR A SELF-CHECK
(Do Things Differently)
To The Bible Isaiah 43:18-19 NIV
“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland.”
LET’S TALK
You want a great life, don’t you? Well, take a moment to examine your attitude and habits. How have they helped you in becoming the person of your dream? If your answer isn’t so positive, then it’s time to make a change. You can’t keep doing the same things the same way and expect different results!
Even God at some point, said, “I will do a new thing!” So, get this straight today: if you want something different from what you’re experiencing now, you’ve got to take some radical steps and do things differently. You’ve got to change your old way of doing things and adopt new ones. Maybe as a student, you haven’t been so diligent with your studies; you need to make a change. Start learning to sit down and be attentive in class; develop a schedule of study that you would follow judiciously.
Don’t just stop at your academics; it’s time for a complete self-check. Review the way things have been going with you and determine the areas in which you’ve got to make adjustments. Be specific; list them out and consciously write down the new steps you’re going to take to change things, and then go for it! Don’t leave them on paper; make them part of your daily personal development project, and before long you’ll be operating from a much higher level of excellence.
