LET’S TALK

Being humble means responding to the Word of God with a pure and teachable heart. One classic example of a man who showed uncommon humility is Job (Job 1:2-22). He was described as a perfect and upright man. Although he was very wealthy at first, he lost everything: his family, his wealth, and even his health. But in spite of all these, the Bible noted that Job was without sin, nor did he charge God foolishly. Job was a humble man; he had the wisdom of God and this was why God exalted him.

You might be longing for a miracle, hoping that someday soon your heart’s desire would be granted. Understand that for you to fulfill God’s dreams for your life, you need humility. You must learn to respond to God’s Word swiftly and chart your course of success by it.
