2 Corinthians 3:2-3 NIV “You yourselves are our letter, written on our hearts, known and read by everyone. You show that you are a letter from Christ, the result of our ministry, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.”

Reading 2 Corinthians 3:2 carefully, you’ll notice that the Bible calls you the letter of Christ. This means your life has been written by the Lord Jesus Christ —just think of it—you’re His living letter, just as He’s the Living Word of God: “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth” (John 1:14). You’re like Him in every way, and you’re His living message for the entire world to read and see.
As you study the New Testament, you’ll realise that God doesn’t want you seeing His words as commands to be obeyed. Rather, He wants you living and acting out what the Word says. The reason you can do this is that you’re born of Him, in the same way a human is born of another human. Thus, you’re the offspring of the Word; you’re the very expression of His life and personality.
This is the real Christian life: the daily expression of God through you. And as the Lord Jesus was the Word of God become flesh and living among people, you too are the Word of God in living colour, expressing His beauties, perfections and will in the earth today. Hallelujah!
