LET’S TALK

Shawn had a loser’s mentality. Whenever he was called upon to work on a project or make a presentation, he always backed out because he felt it would all end in a fiasco. The image he had of himself was one of a flop and this affected his academics and the way he related with his friends. He had come to accept failure as a part of his life.

Do you ever find yourself thinking like Shawn sometimes? You shouldn’t, because as a Christian, failure is inconsistent with your nature. The “failure mentality” is not from God; it’s from the devil. Psalm 138:8 says, “The LORD will perfect that which concerns me….” Glory to God! This shows that the Lord is much more interested in your success than you could ever be. He’s perfecting your life, and ensuring that you have success in everything you do.

This is why it’s impossible for you to be a flop! Get a hold of this truth in your spirit, and let it work in your mind. Everything you do will surely turn out a success!
