CONSULT WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT

“I will instruct you (says the Lord) and guide you along the best pathway for your life; I will advise you and watch your progress.”

LET’S TALK

A lot of times, when people require urgent assistance, their first point of call would be their closest pals. They’d rather go to a friend who they think can help when they’re in trouble or need advice concerning a decision they have to make. Many times, such people only give them guidance based on their limited human reasoning and sense knowledge, which doesn’t work, and this leaves them frustrated and discouraged. How I wish they’ll realise they can ask the Holy Spirit for guidance and direction about anything that concerns them.

Whenever you face challenges and are at a loss for what to do, you can talk to the Holy Spirit. He’ll tell you what to do and give you the right strategies to use. For example, when Joshua was to take over the city of Jericho, he relied on the Holy Spirit to tell him what to do (Joshua 5:13-15), and the Holy Spirit gave him a strategy which no human mind could have ever conceived (Joshua 6:1-5).

So, before you take a major step, consult with the Holy Spirit. Learn to trust Him; depend on Him at all times for answers. He’ll teach you, lead you and guide you into victory in everything you do!
