TO THE BIBLE: 1 Peter 1:23 NIV
“For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God.”
LET’S TALK
1 Peter 1:23 shows us that God’s Word is the imperishable seed, and that you were reborn through the agency of that seed. The word “seed” is translated from the Greek word “sperma.” That’s where the English word “sperm” came from.
In Leviticus 17:11, the Bible says, “…the life of the flesh is in the blood….” But when you became a child of God through the new birth, you became a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17); your blood ceased to be what sustains your life, because you’re now born of God’s sperm—His Word. This is what makes you indestructible.
Have you ever wondered about the indestructible nature and superhuman abilities of Superman, the DC Comics character? Think about this: if man, through his imaginative prowess, could create such an indestructible character, how much more God? Guess what, He created you as the real superman! You’re His seed, and you have the same life that makes Him who He is. Your life is no longer dependent on the blood that flows through your physical body. Nothing—absolutely nothing—can hurt or destroy you when you’re conscious of who you are in Christ.

Speak
The indestructible life of God is in me, therefore, sickness, disease, lack, and deaths have no place in my life. The life and nature of God in me makes me invincible and superhuman. I’m a product of God’s Word!
