TO THE BIBLE: Malachi 3:16
“Then those who feared the LORD spoke to one another, and the LORD listened and heard them; so a book of remembrance was written before Him for those who fear the LORD and who meditate on His name.”
LET’S TALK
God is detailed and meticulous about records. He’s got several books in heaven (Revelation 20:12) and He records all our activities here on earth. Some of those books will be opened on the Day of Judgment (Daniel 7:10), but there’s one which is opened from time to time, and that’s His book of remembrance.
From Malachi 3:16, we read that those who revered the Lord, meditated on His Name and spoke about Him often, had a book of remembrance written for them in the presence of God. In other words, their minds were full of God’s thoughts, and they spoke the right words frequently one to another. They made the right confessions of faith in His Name, and as they did that on the earth, the Lord heard them. Consequently, their names were entered into His book of remembrance. Here’s what happens every time that book is opened: all their confessions are released back to them!
So, you may be there speaking forth the Word of God in faith, and it seems like nothing is changing; don’t stop, for He’s recording in His book of remembrance. In the due course of time, He’ll open that book and the rain of blessings you’ve been expecting will come pouring down all at once. Keep talking the Word and filling up your pages of that book with your faith declarations!
