Hebrews 5:12-13 TLB “…When a person is still living on milk it shows he isn’t very far along in the Christian life, and doesn’t know much about the difference between right and wrong. He is still a baby Christian!”

You can tell when a baby hasn’t been weaned enough to eat solid food—he or she is still on milk and hasn’t yet formed the teeth required to eat and grasp semi-solid food. That’s just like some Christians today who are still spiritual babies. They feed on the milk of God’s Word and are yet to grasp the understanding of deep spiritual truths, though they may have been born again for a very long time.
There’s a way you can tell who a baby in Christ is from the opening scripture: he’s one who doesn’t understand God’s message of righteousness which is the nature of God that has been imparted to him, and which separates him from evil, sin, guilt, condemnation, fear, sickness and poverty.
Without a clear understanding of righteousness, a Christian can’t live victoriously over the enemy. He’ll be subject to the laws and principles of this world (Galatians 4:3). This is why you must not remain in the babyhood stage of Christianity. Desire to grow up in Christ; leave baby food and grow up. Go beyond the elementary stage and start developing yourself spiritually until you become a mature man or woman in Christ. Then you’ll walk in the consciousness of your righteousness in Christ, and the perfection and rightness of God will be manifested through you.

Dear Father, thank you for granting me understanding of the message of righteousness as I study your Word. I’m applying God’s Word of righteousness in my life and I’m walking in victory, success, and prosperity every day of my life, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
