1 Corinthians 2:16 GNB “As the scripture says, “Who knows the mind of the Lord? Who is able to give him advice?” We, however, have the mind of Christ.”

“How did you know that I was going through an emotional challenge?” Alphonso asked his Pastor, after his prayer for him. “It came to my mind, as I prayed. I’ve got the mind of Christ, you know!” said Pastor Zack, with a smile.
When you were born again, you became a new creation and a partaker of Gods divine nature. That immediately made it possible for you to know the mind of God and have access to His thoughts. No wonder the Word says …we understand what Christ is thinking (2 Corinthians 2:16 CEV). That’s because as Christians, we have the mind of Christ. The realities of Gods Kingdom are no longer a mystery to us since we’ve been brought into Gods class of being; we can now function and reason like Him.
Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly (Colossians 3:16). As you learn Gods Word and store it in your heart, it influences the character of your thoughts! You become conditioned to thinking Gods thoughts. To some people, God is a mysterious and unpredictable personality, whose ways are past finding out. They love to quote the words of the prophet Isaiah: …My thoughts and my ways are not like yours. Just as the heavens are higher than the earth, my thoughts and my ways are higher than yours (Isaiah 55:8-9 CEV), but this scripture addressed the Old Testament guys that weren’t born again. Today, in the New Testament, the Bible declares that we have the mind of Christ; that means His ways have become our ways, and His thoughts have become our thoughts.
Get acquainted with the Lord through His Word; the more you know Him, the more His nature and thoughts are revealed to you, and youll understand His ways.

Dear Father, thank you for sanctifying my mind to think like you. Thank you for making it possible for me to reason at your high level of wisdom, where I’ve got perfect understanding of all things. Thank you for granting me insight into all your ways, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
