God’s Word is the surest counsel you’ll ever need to make quality decisions for a great and successful life.
To The Bible Psalm 1:1-2
“Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful; but his delight is in the law of the LORD, and in His law he meditates day and night.”
LET’S TALK
We all make choices and decisions every day. You’re where you are today because of the decisions you made yesterday. In fact, everything you do is linked to your decisions: The friends you keep, the books you read, even the clothes you wear. However, like many people, you may find it challenging to make the right decisions all the time. That’s especially so when you’re easily influenced by others.
For instance, some people make decisions based on what’s popular in the society or what others think is “cool.” But as a Christian, your choices and decisions shouldn’t be influenced by the world. Rather, they should be influenced by God’s Word, and the guidance of His Spirit. This way, you’ll be sure to make the right decisions, and be guided into God’s perfect will for your life.
Remember, the Bible says, “…do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God” (Romans 12:2). So, the next time you have a decision to make, don’t look to the world; get it right through God’s Word, and the guidance of the Spirit!
