God’s Agent of Salvation
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome
“No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day. It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me” (JOHN 6:44-45)
No one can come to Jesus except the Spirit of God motivates him; no one can have faith except the Spirit of God imparts that faith to his human spirit. So it’s the Spirit of God that draws the heart of man to God by revelation. The Holy Spirit of God is God’s agent of salvation. Sadly, for some people, that’s where His ministry in their lives has stopped, but His work is much more than this.
Salvation is more than being brought out of sickness, poverty, fear, depression and death. Another aspect of what the Holy Spirit does in our lives is to bring us into divine health, prosperity, strength, success, victory and everything Christ has given us in the New Testament. That means He brings you out of something to take you into another.
God’s agent of salvation brings you out of sin, sickness, poverty and everything that hurts, binds and destroys, into the provisions of the glorious liberty in Christ Jesus. The Lord Jesus said to His disciples, “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you” (John 14:26). The Holy Spirit reveals God’s Word to you, and this causes you to live the life God has predetermined for you to live.
