“You were bought with a price [purchased with a preciousness and paid for by Christ]; then do not yield yourselves up to become [in your own estimation] slaves to men [but consider yourselves slaves to Christ].”
LET’S TALK
“I hate the way my ears look.” “My nose is too flat.” “There’s nothing good in me.” That’s not the way God wants you looking at yourself; people who think or talk this way don’t know how much they’re worth.
When you walk into a supermarket, you’d observe the items displayed have price tags on them. With the price tag, you can tell how much cash to exchange for the item you want to purchase. Now, to know how much your value is, you’ll have to look at the price tag God placed on you—the precious blood of His Son Jesus Christ!
When God wanted to get you for Himself, He didn’t send an angel. Instead, He sent His only Son Jesus Christ to die for you. He didn’t think it too much for Jesus to take your place. In fact, if you had been the only person who needed salvation in the whole world, He would still have paid the same price for you. You’re as valuable to God as Jesus is! Now, you’re His precious son or daughter, so don’t devalue or think low of yourself. If anyone asks you why you think you’re worth anything, tell them it’s because your life was paid for with the precious blood of Jesus!

Dear Father, I thank you for the price you paid for me. I’m honored to be as valuable to you as Jesus is. I walk in the consciousness of this truth every day of my life, in Jesus’ Name. Amen!
