NOTHING TO LACK ;
(The Lord Has Supplied All Your Needs)
TO THE BIBLE Philippians 4:19
“…My God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus”
LET’S TALK
Have you ever wondered if it’s really possible to never lack in life? That’s what the words of Paul’s prayer for the Philippian church in our opening scripture suggest. When he said, “…my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus,” he wasn’t making a promise to the Church on God’s behalf.
He was rather speaking based on an understanding of God’s ways of doing things–that He (God) supplies not just some but ALL our needs! This means you don’t have to pray about your needs, because they already automatically have been registered into God’s supply system.
You may be thinking, “But Pastor Chris, I have needs at the moment, and I don’t know where the funds to take care of them would come from. What do I do?”Here’s what you need to do: Declare, “I have my needs met according to God’s riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Therefore, in the Name of Jesus, I receive this (mention what it is) right now!” Who says you have to pay for it? Whatever the need is, if you can only believe and voice your faith, you will receive. In so doing, you put the Word in 2 Corinthians 4:13 to work: “…Since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, “I believed and therefore I spoke,” we also believe and therefore speak.”

Psalm 23:1-2 GNB
The LORD our Shepherd
1The LORD is my shepherd;
I have everything I need.
2He lets me rest in fields of green grass
and leads me to quiet pools of freshwater.
Matthew 6:7-8 MSG
7-13 “The world is full of so-called prayer warriors who are prayer-ignorant. They’re full of formulas and programs and advice, peddling techniques for getting what you want from God.
Don’t fall for that nonsense. This is your Father you are dealing with, and he knows better than you what you need.
Pray
Dear Father, I thank you for supplying all my needs according to your riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Therefore, I’m never in lack or want, for you’re my Shepherd and great provider; you’ve brought me into a large place of superabundance, where I prosper and all my needs are met, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
