TO THE BIBLE: Galatians 3:29
“And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.”
LET’S TALK
Galatians 3:29 tells us that if we are Christ’s, then we’re Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise. Remember, God told Abraham, “I will make you a great nation; I will bless you and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing” (Genesis 12:2). He further promised to give the whole world to Abraham, and He did! Abraham obeyed God and inherited the promise. But the promise wasn’t meant for Abraham alone, but for his Seed as well, who is Christ (Galatians 3:16).
All that Abraham was promised is our present-hour inheritance in Christ Jesus. That’s the reason I say, “I’ll always be successful, because Christ lives in me, and I’m the seed of Abraham.” This should be your mindset also. You’re Abraham’s seed, fashioned for success, excellence, and greatness.
There are three ways you become great: one is to be born great, another is to achieve greatness, and the third is to have greatness conferred on you. Now, Jesus Christ was born great, He achieved greatness, and also had greatness conferred on Him. And the beautiful thing about this is, He bequeathed all of His greatness to us! That’s absolutely remarkable! It means you were born great, because of Jesus! When you were born again, the seed of greatness was planted in your spirit. Have the consciousness of who you are in Christ, and constantly walk in the paths God shows you in His Word, for they’re paths of greatness.
