God’s Word Gives You The Mindset For Success
TO THE BIBLE: Psalm 1:1-3
“Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful; but his delight is in the law of the lord, and in his law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper.”
LET’S TALK
Today’s theme scripture simply summarises what you need to live a highly successful and prosperous life. Firstly, it says the one who wants to be successful doesn’t walk in the counsel of the ungodly; that means he refuses to heed the advice of profane people. Secondly, he doesn’t stand “…in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful;” this implies he doesn’t keep company with the wrong folks, nor does he ignore the things of God. “But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and in His law he meditates day and night.”
To be a real success, it’s important that you meditate on the Word. Meditation conditions your spirit for excellence and gives you the right mentality for prosperity. There are people who have been wrongly conditioned, and so they think and act wrongly. But when you allow the Word of God to influence you, it’ll give you a new way of thinking, a success-mindset. You just cannot fail, because there are no “failure files” in your system anymore. You only run on the “success files” introduced into your spirit through the Word of God.
God’s Word is God’s wisdom. And as you meditate on it, you’re automatically programmed in the direction of success and piloted by the force of wisdom.
