No matter the state of your nation today, it’s important that you celebrate its progress thus far, and help to move it forward through your positive action.
TO THE BIBLE Ecclesiastes 7:10 MSG
‘Don’t always be asking, “Where are the good old days?” Wise folks don’t ask questions like that.’
LET’S TALK
Do you know most of the things we see today in the nations of the world are harvests of the decisions that were made in years gone by? The state of a nation today is, more often than not, a product of the choices, decisions, and actions of past governments.
For many, their national anniversary has become a time to reflect on the past and wish for “the good old days.” Many wonder how the state of their economies remains comatose after so many years of self-determination. Well, it may be a fact that your nation has been dominated by governments that have been indifferent to the needs of its people, but you have to make a personal choice to move forward from that. Rather than join the band of critics, naysayers, and rabble-rousers blaming and fighting their governments over the state of affairs in the country, I challenge you to be a solution-provider.
Create around you a joyful atmosphere for change, as you celebrate the hope of the glorious future that lies ahead. Be glad about the opportunities you have to make a change, and take advantage of them. If we all make the right and proper investments with the time we have today, we will reap the harvest of a more prosperous tomorrow. That hope of a better future is in itself worth celebrating.
