DECEMBER IS THE MONTH OF BLESSINGS IN THANKSGIVING

WORLD EVANGELISM CONFERENCE WITH PASTOR CHRIS & PASTOR BENNY HINN

DECEMBER 2019 GLOBAL COMMUNION SERVICE WITH REV. CHRIS OYAKHILOME;

Serving God well begins with knowing why Jesus came and making Jesus’ passion become your passion. Jesus thought we were important to God and we are important to God. Jesus came to save us, to deliver us and to give us life. Most of all and the purpose for doing all this, was to bring us into fellowship with God. That was the reason for saving us, for delivering us, for giving us eternal life.

The greatest thing a human being can ever know is to be in fellowship with God, where you can relate with Him knowing that He loves you; and most of all, to be in God and He in you. To discover Him and discover yourself in Him. In reality, that’s the purpose of life and until you discover that you haven’t truly lived.

Think of it, what is it that you could think lasting…think about the Pharaohs that were esteemed to be gods but when their time came, they passed on. What do you want? Fame? What truly counts in life? Self satisfaction? All these won’t change anything.

If people died, why then do they live? Why do we ever come if we have to go? The answer is in Jesus. Why did Jesus come? Why do we live?

Until and unless you discover your purpose for life, you haven’t lived. Fellowship with God is the idea; this isn’t be close or friends with God. These are ways to express our fellowship with Him. But when you discover, you’ll know that you are in Him and He in you. That was what Jesus meant when He said “I am in my Father and my Father is in me”.

When you know this, you move from human intelligence to glorious revelation. Humans are only given human intelligence but when you are born again, it translates human intelligence to wisdom.

ON THE HOLY SPIRIT & GOD

The Holy Spirit isn’t some smoke, vapour or some cloud. He is a person. You can only describe the Holy Spirit with the scriptures. Never try to describe Him with your mind. You know the Holy Spirit through your spirit; your mind will fail you. It’s like trying to explain God. You can’t know that. Jesus had to show us by saying, if you’ve seen me you have seen the Father. The disciples couldn’t get it because they were trying to relate with their senses. But when they received the Holy Spirit, they had Spiritual Understanding.

1 Corinthians 9:24-26
24. Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.
25. And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.
26. I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air:

Don’t run like it doesn’t matter; some are living like it doesn’t matter. Run that you may win the prize. Our race is for an imperishable prize. Live to obtain a prize for Jesus Christ.

MESSAGE FOR THE MONTH

In the Month of June, the message of the Month was on “How to Bless”. In November, it was the Month of Blessings.

DECEMBER IS THE MONTH OF BLESSINGS IN THANKSGIVING

1 Corinthians 14:15-16
15. What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also.
16. Else when thou shalt bless with the spirit, how shall he that occupieth the room of the unlearned say Amen at thy giving of thanks, seeing he understandeth not what thou sayest?

When Jesus blessed, He gave thanks. In this month of December, bless God by giving thanks… For who He is, for all He’s done in your life and for His mighty works.
