And the inhabitant will not say, “I am sick”; the people who dwell in it will be forgiven their iniquity.

TO THE BIBLE: Isaiah 33:24

“And the inhabitant will not say, “I am sick”; the people who dwell in it will be forgiven their iniquity.”

LET’S TALK

Isn’t Isaiah’s description of Zion in Isaiah 33:24 inspiring! He calls it a beautiful place where the inhabitants have no reason to say, “I am sick.” That’s because there’s no sickness in Zion! And from Hebrews 12:22, you discover that this city is where the believer lives right now—the city where God dwells.

This means, if you’re born again, you’ve been born into Zion and you’re an inhabitant of this glorious land of health and abundance, also referred to as “the heavenly Jerusalem.” In Colossians 1:13, it’s called the Kingdom of God’s dear Son. So, as a child of God, you live in this beautiful spiritual kingdom where divine health is your present-hour possession.

It’s so important for you to realise that God’s Kingdom to which you belong doesn’t operate like the world’s system where there’s sin, sickness, disease, and infirmity. You’re not subject to any of these because you belong in Zion! It’s a land of glory, prosperity, beauty and honour, where sickness is foreign, and you’ve got both the right and responsibility to say “no” to it.
